I have 75 birds right now, still down from 85 just yest AM though :oops: whittling down but ill still be working on quail all winter.
ETA this includes the 12 new hatchlings

I dont think ima be able to make it :( the dh has a side job :( yest i just hatched black sex links for it too :( altho ive sold All of the wyandottes ive hatched this year, 65 birds in total.
My birds dont fool with my pool but i dont have ducks and only a handful of my chickens free range at any one time as i rotate them to keep lines pure. Ima water girl too :highfive: found my pool free on CL this year :yesss:
I wish. One day it Will hapen again. Ive had several flocks of ducks and agree Everyone should have them! The quacks sound like laughter to me :love That poster said his new ducklings were jumping around in their brooder in efforts to eat them though :lau
My lizards def feast on them, there are anoles Everywhere, and geckos at night too. The spiders too. Ive been seeing abuncha dragonflys i wonder about them?
See they had told me that but also last year a few of em stuck around and were a problem through Fall. Just not in the heat of the day like the mosquitos they were out in the morning and evening. Last yr i didnt have poultry so i didnt Need to spray but i couldnt have the kids outside much...
Thank you, ill look into that. Each of now three times ive bought something different, so im sure theyre not becoming tolerant of any single one. Part of the problem is cutting grass weekly and another part is two events of flooding rains. The heat shouldve killed them off by now according to...
