Buy yourself a good pellet rifle and pop that sucker in the head right in its ear. Dont be shy about letting it have it multiple times either. A good pellet rifle will do the job and is very quiet. Thank god I live in the sticks were I can load up the ole remington and throw some lead around no...
My michigan birds do just great all winter, I have them in a enclosed coop with plenty of ventilation and a light to simulate 12-13 hours of daylight that comes on in the morning. No heaters or heat lamps, Just plenty of food, water and treats. I use heated dog dishes for there water in the...

Yep, and you should be happy to pay for American made products. Wake up and smell the coffee. That is exactly the attitude the Communist Chinese wants you to have.

I have had good luck with there stuff and on the rare occasion that it broke, I simply returned it without a problem. As far as made in China what isnt. American made is 10 X the price.
I noticed on these nice warm few days we have had here in Michigan that swarms of bee's are all over my chickens feeder. They are attracted to something, What? I put out some wheat and cracked corn for a little treat and they were all over it too? What is it they areliking so much?
I had a teribbly mean rooster once whom, I could not catch in my muddy yard so i popped him in head with my trusty .22 rimfire and that my friends was all he wrote. I am considering having chicken hunts in my back forty with some close friends come butchering time. Who needs to go to some...

Where I buy my layer they put calcium carbonate in the layer itself as a ingredient during the mixng process for the calcium content to be higher. They sell bags of it for 5.00$ for 50 lbs. Much cheaper than any pet store
15.00 for 100 pounds of Layer here in Michigan. I buy from a local farmer in Lapeer "Howard Stack" my chickens were eating that high dollar feed from TSC and then I switched to the local stuff to save a few dollars. My chickens are laying better than ever now.
A friend gave me some grower, can I give this to my laying hens? Should I mix it with there layer? I understand it has more protien than layer but what about the extra stuff they need for laying a good quality egg?
You guys are great, I wish I would have ordered more now two just arent enough. I have a good little mix of chicks to go with my full grown girls but I would love more NN's. I should have gotten a cockeral and tryed hatching some.
