Thank you, I did not want to add them to my current pen if they are something different. I have had sweetgrass for a few years and could not tell any difference.
Just glad to be adding to my turkey pen.
OK. Help me out here.
My research is coming to the conclusion that sweetgrass turkeys are descendants of ronquiere turkeys. I have what is being called ronquiere, is genetic testing the only way to know for sure.
Since I am raising these for breeding purpose I should be positive of what I have...
I am in the process of starting over with the quail shed, not quite there yet as far as how I want it.
These are for a youngster that wants to try quail and of course I am gonna help out with that quail math.:D

How far along is your hybrid duck project? Are you getting calm ducklings?
Sure would be nice to have a steady supply of duck eggs without the flighty ducks.
Huntingdon is a beautiful area that I visit often due to relatives just outside of the town.
That and my visits to my hometown in lancaster County is the only 2 places I ever go to.
Hello!!
I pop on here and read up quite often but very seldom comment.
I now live a lot closer to all of you in the center of the state, I guess you could say I have become an old anti social hermit since moving here to the mountain.
And a Hello to all the newbies that I do not know, welcome...
