    Molting Questions

    My black sex link is beginning to molt. She's missing a bunch of feathers on one side of her rump and her pretty tail feathers are ragged and few. My questions are: Is it normal to molt this time of year? Should I expect any behavior changes in egg laying? Will her poos by any different?

    Something I Heard From The Vet About Ivomec

    I took the box and product with me to the vet when I took my RIR. I showed the vet the Ivomec and after reading it he said that if you use it on laying hens, you can NEVER eat the eggs again!! Has anyone else ever heard that?

    Nest Box Accesibility...Why???

    Why should you have accesibility from the outside of the coop to gather eggs from the nest boxes? Why can't you just go in the coop and get them out??
