I'm pretty sure this blog topic is for diseases about chickens, but I need prayer for my friend, with a human disease. I need tons of prayer for my friend, Taylor. She is anorexic. She's trying to live on 500 calories a day. Last night, she collapsed at her youth group. She's 86lbs and she's...
A couple of days ago my BO was found lying outside, way past what time she usually goes in. So my dad picked her up and put her in the coop. He found her in the same spot in the morning. We took her out and put her in the garage in a box. She had the runs, and she still wasn't walking around or...
My Dad found our BO lying outside the coop last night, way past the time they usually go in. Oddly enough, she's usually the first one in at night. My dad picked her up, inspected her, making sure she didn't have any open wounds and stuff like that, which she didnt. So he just put her to bed...

I got my first successful chickens in March 2010 and they're about 20-30 weeks right now. I've been noticing a very strange behavior. My two Americaunas have been jumping up and down and repeatedly striking at each other. I do not know the sexes yet, but could one of them be a rooster?
I have 6 full grown hens, but they are living in a used rabbit hutch. We are planning on getting 6 more chickens in March, and we're gonna need a bigger coop. Anyone have any ideas?
My chickens love to kick all the straw out of the coop on the open side. After i change their coop, they kick all the straw out, and they have no straw left in there in like two days. It's so annoying!!!
