Is there a way to post more than one picture without haveing to post each picture seperately. I would like to post several pictures of our new coop progress to my page. It takes quite a long time posting them one at a time. Is there a way to post the whole file. About 15 pictures.
When your chicks start squatting, bout how long is it before eggs? We have 2 RIR's and a Golden Comet. Blondie the Comet is starting to squat when I let them out in the morning. She has been doing this for about 2 days. Are eggs comming soon?
We have a Buff Orpington named "Blondie". well she has become the building inspector. we are in the process of building a new coop and she is interested in everything we are doing. we were setting the post for the legs, she came over and stood around my feet watching. even when I would slam...
My understanding is, breed 2 different types chicks and when they hatch the color of the chick indicates what sex the chicks are.
If this understanding is correct, then if we breed a white leghorn and a RIR. will the pullets be red or white, or some other combination?
thanks, we are thinking...

we were planting our garden yesterday and I had this great ideal. why not let the 7 week old chicks free range for a while. they just loved it. never did wander too far from the coop. we took a break and set our chairs in the shade with the chicks. we think they liked us being around. they...
we had to do some coop repair after the tornado blew it over last week. nothing too bad though. we have been locking the chicks up in the run for coop maintainance, but today we let them out in the yard. at first they didn't know if they should leave the coop area, that didn't last long...
I have noticed several remedies for pasty butt. Yogart, molassas, sand, bird grit, and sever others I can't remember. By no means am I a chicken expert, but I know several. The best advice I was given was sand. No not the play sand at Home Depot, or Lowes. just plain old building or...
