I do know, that when dealing with a "yeast type" infection, the patient should stay away from corn. Corn really feeds the yeast/fungus. After treatment with anti-fungals, then make sure to use yogurt/acidofilis(sp), it will put the good bacteria back on track.
Ours MOLT in fall, and molt again in spring.
The spring molt is usually a smaller event that fall MOLT. But a few of my girls always seem to want a completely new outfit every spring.
Sounds like your girls might need some extra oyster shell?? If you have it free-choice already...
Once in a while these weird eggs happen, but oyster shell is always good. I do not mix mine in, but have a separate pan of oyster shell for them to eat it free choice.

I had a drake duck (childhood pet, who loved me and bit everyone else, lol) who lived well over 12 years, not sure how long.
Right now I have several old ladies, one 6 year old one eyed who hen still lays a few eggs a week. Since we free range most of our layer birds, enough cull themselves...

If they are Swedish, there are blue, and black that the hatcheries sell.
Not sure if this goes here, or in the chicks section... Mods, feel free to move it.
I hatched out 50 + chicks a week ago. Only lost the one to the at the time, so we are doing good now. They are all thriving.
However, one little guy has the strangest down. It almost looks singed, or...
