I have ran into production issues. There may be another issue. Did you add to the flock, or browse somewhere that might have brought something home. I am having to isolate chickens.. treat them for weeks before adding them back yo the flock or burying them..

I have a Styrofoam one I hate. It kills my poor babies with its spikes and unreliable gauges. I have to ask, why do you use the Styrofoam one for hatching? It seems with the plastic, it would be easy to see the progress. I was seriously considering getting a sportsman, but I may be talking...

I haven't had any issues with my roos and turkeys. I guess im lucky. My two toms were trying to kill each other so i sold the best looking one. The family i sold it too is telling me they are having trouble with him and thier roosters. They are talking about getting rid of him.

My commercial white hen went to laying big time. She laid her first egg on the floor of their coup, with my French Marans, which she mothers. I made her a nest which I didn't know if she would start using it, but she did immediately. I never saw my tom, a blue slate, mate with her, but my...

Well.. I have someone, I think, that has a Sportsman incubator.. I'm paying $1 every hatch... as long as that works out, I think I will continue, but if it doesn't, I'm going to get a sportsman myself. I'm sick... this stuff is addictive. ..

I got out there late a couple weeks ago... btw, I'm from Vilonia. . Not too far away.. I read somewhere to be aware of going around those areas as we can pick up something on our cloths or shoes and bring it home to our chickens.. it kinda scares me.

I do open air. I cover their roost area during winter then open it more as spring rolls around. I am still trying new things... I'm thinking I will add a closed in area they can shelter during rough weather as they choose
