Honey, maggots are a definite "ewww", but they only eat the diseased material. They will not hurt her. Very few hospitals allow it but a way to save leg for a diabetic is to make a bandage with maggots inside. A couple of times a day. They order only clean maggots. Gotta know what that...

Topdog, this is a total inspiration for my gardening. Going out in a few minutes to gather up tons of grass clippings. Neighbor was gone for weeks and mowed several acres 4-6" high.

The joy of him building it is the labor is free in exchange for the two small coops he hauled off. Win win on both our parts. 4' x 8' is easy to build. About $50 forr wood. I'm not in a hurry. I'll just get some nice containers or grow bags for now. :D
