Yep... sounds like you just got luck of the roosters on this batch. I would have sworn little pink banded chick was a pullet in that first pic too. Sorry, I have no advise on picking your rooster. There was a lot of discussion on this thread a couple of years ago. It seemed the...

OK, I looked through some old WM chick pictures and I was wrong.....can't tell at 5 days. Here is an old pic of some 2 week old chicks and you can tell by that age. Darker is the boy (little split wing fellow)....lighter is the pullet. Sorry image is so big.....have been away for awhile and...

OK here's the deal on my juvies (12 or 13 weeks old). Sorry, no pics of them today. It is windy and overcast, they wouldn't hold still and 2 needy EE's kept jumping on my head... so I threw in the towel and will get some tomorrow. But, I did check them out closely. Faces of the cockerels are...

On a PC the new system is pretty easy....like attaching an e-mail. Click on the little pic, next to the film strip icon. Then find the pic on your hard drive and attach it. On a smart phone?? no clue?? I do miss your pictures!!!

Hey Debi- Didn't see your response until just now. I will get some pictures tomorrow and see what you think. Yes, they have feathers down the sides of the legs and the outside toe. I don't remember what color their legs are. The females are feathering in darker than I had hoped they would...

Thank you!! I was waiting for the juvi molt to pick out Cockerels to keep. However, 1 has a chance at a good home with a flock of layers. Can I safely eliminate 1 on the basis of combs at 10 weeks?? How many points is best?? Personally I think the testosterone boy has a funky comb.....any...

One of my cockerels is developing MUCH faster than any of the others. 10 weeks old. You can see the normal guy in the corner. That is what all the other cockerels look like. Then boom!! This one has a huge comb and enormous wattles. Is this normal or is something weird going on??
