I know I'm way behind on this post..but when my chicks haven't absorbed all of the yolk yet..I keep them separated from the rest, put neosporin on the yolk, and let them lay there and wake up. Or, if it's a lot, I leave it in the bator until it has absorbed most of it..the humidity helps with...

Know what I love about the first picture? You are holding an egg, that has pipped. Supposed to be one of the biggest no no's, and yet, there it is, gasp, a hand, holding a pipped egg. Then, that baby pops right out of there by the night. I hope this bator works that well for me!

Aww, first time? They are cute! Is that black digital read out saying the humidity is in the 90's. My eyeballs can't see all that great. If so, do you have your plugs out of the top of the bator. Maybe those chicks just hiked it up for a bit. Oh, and you can lower the heat on them too...
