    There will not be any red on the wings.... she is Dominate white. I have not seen anything on my SBEL roos other than the combs that told me they were roos. I am 99.9% sure she is a pullet.... keep us updated.

    The first 2 pics (same guy I think) is are roos... not sure on the other, but if the comb looks like the second pic, I would say roo.

    There are 2 things that make me say roo.... the comb is red and the dark blue on the hackles and wings. I don't have any blue pullets or hens with dark blue on the wings. Keep us updated. BTW the yellow is what is making his legs look green and was the dead giveaway he is not a pure breed...

    None of those chicks are PURE Ameraucanas.... sorry. I can't tell the crosses either. The red and blue are not like Blue Laced Red Wyandottes... they are Red Laced the opposite of the BLRW.

    I am leaning toward roo... I think I see some red on the wing.... pull the wing out and look. As for the Yellow legs..... the yolk makes their legs yellow and will fade after a few weeks in chicks that don't have yellow legs.

    Wheaten and Blue Wheaten look the same at hatch. You have to wait till they feather out to see what color you have.

    No, I don't breed green legs in my EE. MOST do, but not all. Some are yellow and some are blue or slate.

    A pea comb will help make that determination. We will help either way I have both EE and Ams and love them for different things. EE are more productive than pure Ams and more colorful too

    Don't get your hopes up...... Wheatens don't have any black markings on the back and head at that age, maybe a little on the wings but that is it. Silver Ameraucanas are VERY RARE and you got an EE... makes me think they may all be EE. I don't get my EE mixed up with my Amerauacanas. You...
