I have a question. Can LF and bantams be raised together? I ended up with 2bantam chicks and 4 LF. I also have 12 LF birds coming in April. Will the bigger birds pick on the bantams?
Haha :lau thank you!

This is peep my barred rock. She is SUPER loud
Then I have 2 more Cochin bantams, but one is sick and the other is sleeping and...
Okay! I'm sorry I just made assumptions. I'm sure glad that is working! I just bought my first chicks this morning without even planning it. :hide I have 12 more chicks coming in April, but I couldn't stand to wait that long :gig I love them to death!
I think your temperature might be a little high. They need a colder area to escape to and the warmest area should be 90-95 degrees. Try raising the lamp a little and slanting it in a way where the other side is a little cooler :)
Adorable chicks! :love I don't think they are Easter eggers because they don't have the "chipmunk" pattern Easter egger chicks usually have, but they sure are cute chicks!
Chicken math almost just took over :hide I haven't even gotten my fist chicks yet, but I went into "chick haze" and went to tractor supply to pick up some chicks. Either luckily or unluckily, all they had today were Cornish X :rant
I have the same problem except with bears and raccoons wolves and foxes. One wolf even tried to snatch my cat!! There are a few mountain lions as well, but I have never seen one here. There have been recent sitings around here though! :barnie :th
I am getting my first babies during he first week of April and I am so excited!! I am buying them from a local breeder and I am getting 4 Easter eggers, 4 buff Orpingtons, 2 Rhode Island reds and 2 barred Plymouth rocks! I cannot wait until I get to go pick them up!!! :D
