I took one of ours to an APA show yesterday. The judge (Mr. Burton from W-S, NC) said he was happy to see one in the show ring. He said that he wasn't going to spend much time explaining to me what I needed to work on with him because he said I probably already knew. I take that as a compliment...
Here are a few random pictures I took of our Lavenders et al.
A pair of Lav Orp x Blk Cochin LF projects (How come the Lav is coming through on the cockerel?):
To be crossed with above cockerel:
Ok, need advice, please, from the experts.
I have crossed a Lav Orp roo with some nice quality (some BQ, some SQ) black cochin hens and now have a few of these I have retained. How many generations would it take to get rid of the remaining foot feathering? I took a picture today of the oldest...
Beth G. :
Hi Guys,
Someone just asked me about selling them some Lav Orp Proj eggs. How much should a half a dozen be sold for? I've never done it and have no clue. I just want to be fair if ya know what I mean. Oh also, how much does it cost to ship in US?
Thanks for your input,
Beth
Beth...
I have chicks hatching today from scbatz33! So far I have 2 split lavenders, 1 lavender, and 1 lavender mottled.
These will go well with our Lav Roo and black pullet from Hinkjc and a lavender chick from Tony.

Someone IS working on them as far as I know, as a matter of fact they`re trying to sell eggs on Ebay
I've got some about to hatch in the bator now. They are split lavender australorps from a cross between black aussies and a lavender orp.
The one I kept to play around with. I can't decide if I want to go with breeding him to Black Orps (which I have zero of after 2 failed hatches) or to Black Cochins. He's still young and is getting in new tail feathers, so he looks like scraggly right now.
