If I hadn't just recently acquired a black Showgirl, I'd be all over that one! I paid a lot more for him knowing he was a cockerel! Anyhoo, I'm kind of in the same boat. I have way too many juvenile birds right now, I need to find homes for some of them!

I don't have cuckoo, but I do have a couple of pretty frizzled Sizzle girls that would be a good match for that guy ;)

That last lil baby is so cute! It looks like it has a little turtle shell on its back :love

golsn.com is another good place to advertise, I sell a lot of birds on there. My Silkies and Sizzles sell well. And now that I've added Showgirls, I have a waiting list for eggs and chicks a mile long. I don't think any of those are even remotely rare, but they're fun. People seem to like the LF...

I have broodies everywhere right now. A black copper Marans in the layer coop and Silkies and Sizzles basically sitting in every available location in the bantam coop. They're driving me nuts. I'll be glad when they get back to laying and stop screeching and growling at me every time I go in there!

Not really anything happening with them other than a little bit of wiggling. Still waiting on them :/

Does anyone know where I can find some Showgirls semi close? At this point, I'm not picky about color, I just want some! I really don't want to have to start them from scratch :/

Some of the birds in the breeding pen. I'll most likely be changing out my rooster soon. I did have everyone split up into two pens (a splash Silkie roo in one with blue, black and non standard colored frizzle and smooth Silkies and Sizzles, and a blue frizzled Sizzle roo in the other with...

I'll definitely keep in touch. My Silkies are very typey and fluffy. The Sizzles typically are as well, but I do still get the odd chick that's lacking crest (though they still look better than hatchery Silkies and those hens with smaller crests still make gorgeous chicks), but most of them have...

Normally I would say yes to this. I have some nice blue, black and splash and non standard color Silkies and Sizzles. But, everyone is broody right now (or just coming out of brooding). I went from almost a dozen eggs a day from them, right now I'm only getting two eggs a day

Welcome! You might check on golsn.com. I see 'bators and turners listed for sale there pretty often. Good luck :)

I have 4 frizzled Silkies. I'm not positive they're pullets, but they look very girlie. They're around 8-12 weeks old (some younger, some older).

I just sold a Silkie that was exactly the same color (grey, I think?). She was so pretty, but I had no idea what to do with her :/ She's the only one I've ever gotten, and didn't have a place in any of my breeding pens :hit
