«We Could Be Legends»

Sherri listened, wishing there was something she could do. She tucked her chin on her knees, holding her legs together. She had known the risks. Yet here she was. And she cried.
(I thought she couldn't turn back into a human due to the anti-shift stuff?)

Zion turned around on the heels of his feet once he heard the man's voice. He watched him run up to him and his sister intensely. Hoping his yelling wouldn't wake Delilah up and startle her.
What does he want? Zion thought to himself.
Somethings going to happen. I better prepare for whatever it is. He thought.
"Is something wrong?" He asked the man.
Zachary was surprised he had just stopped and turned around. He wasn't supposed to interact with them on his own, he was just supposed to watch them. He stopped abruptly to not plow right into them. "Uh, y-yeah. No?" He took a breath unsure how to deal with him. He glanced down at the small fox he had curled up against his chest. Surely she couldn't be carrying it. "She was at the IHOP earlier. We, I- I mean I need to talk to her about it." Zachary's heart was racing, he had never approached an Inhuman on his own before, and he was sure this guy who was taller than him, could fly off with him. He had to be careful until the rest of the team showed up. He smiled nervously up at the bird boy.

Sherri listened, wishing there was something she could do. She tucked her chin on her knees, holding her legs together. She had known the risks. Yet here she was. And she cried.

"STOP MOVING!"Wolfram snarled, jerking his head up to face her. His voice was harsher then intended, and he clenched his teeth, now very ticked with himself for letting his anger get out of control. Again."I've done this a few more times then I would like to admit, Bleddyn. I know what I'm doing. Your leg isn't going to loose complete circulation, it's not tied that tight."His voice shook slightly, betraying more emotion's then he wanted."We need to stop to bleeding, or else you will die."He paused, his eyes glittering with a deep emotion. He dropped his voice, now just barely a whisper."I'm not going to let that happen."
As the van rumbled its way along a steadily bumpier road, Sherri's soft sobs and Lachlan's heavy breathing were abruptly noticeable.
Bleddyn fell still and silent for a long moment, trapped inside her mind and subjected to the resonating torture she consented herself to day after day.

"What if I want to?"

Unexpected by even her, the words were firm and crisp- like cruel shards carved from the most perfect glass, doomed to pierce with devastating savagery.

Wolfram stared at her for what felt like ages. Her words haunted the back of mind, like a bad memory sour to the minds eyes. What if I want to? His blue eyes glittering with a close guarded emotion, his eyes searching hers."So you want to give up on life that easily, huh?"He asked, Finnally breaking the painful, aching silence that seemed to drag on for a millenia."Why would you want to die?

Dying doesn't make things any easier.
It won't ease the pain.
Maybe it will for you,
But not for the people around you.
The pain will just drag on and on, No matter what happens.
Another person dying, Especially a young, smart, brave and beautiful girl like you, will just make the pain become even worse.
Would you want that?"

He stared at her, his words slowly registering in his head.
He matched, almost word for word, almost the exact words his mother had spoken to him. His voice cracking when he spoke, revealing a emotion and memories so closely guarded, like a briar in a patch full of thorns. But the briar was a harsh one, one that held so many painful secrets, the thorns protecting the memories and secrets from ever being revealed to the world. But the thorns had somehow been ripped away, exposing the rose, it's delicate petal's being ripped as easily as a leaf.

Jessi woke up & stretched. She climbed out of bed and walked into the bathroom, where she washed her face and got dressed. She walked into the living room & saw Toby staring at the screen with wide eyes playing video games. "What time did you get up?" She asked him.
"Around seven yesterday morning. I didn't go to sleep last night. I didn't even try."
"Seriously? What's wrong with you? Call Of Duty is not worth risking your health for." Jessi said angrily.
"It's fine." Toby said. "You're sounding like mom."
"Well maybe you should've listened to mom more. And no, it's not okay. Do you remember the last time you triggered an episode? You-"
"I remember! You might think I'm crazy but I'm not stupid!" Toby said and stood up. "I do not need to be lectured, and especially not by you."
Jessi sighed. "Sorry, I'm just worried." She said. Toby sat back down, & Jessi walked into the kitchen & grabbed an apple. "I'm going out." She said.
"Where are you going, how long will you be gone, & text me when you're coming home. Don't stay out later than 11:00pm unless you tell me, text me at 12:00am so I know you're okay. Have fun." Toby said. Jessi rolled her eyes. "Paranoid much? What if I'm just getting the mail?" She asked Toby.
"You refuse to get the mail, so I doubt you're going there. Goodbye." Toby replied. Jessi walked outside and into the rain.
(Do you want to try and have Brisa and Jessi meet up somehow? It's a little hard because almost everyone's in a time warp, though. :) )
