«We Could Be Legends»

Misty signed and fell back into the seat with an elongated "augggghhhhhhh." She did not feel like getting the kids injured or herself injured again for that matter. She glanced down at her kids once again then looked up, lashing her tail in a playful motion. "Lets go then," she smirked.
Indigo drove them.
*time travels them*

"Make yourselves comfortable." Jessi said. "Looks like the pizza is here." She walked to the door and grabbed the pizza. She paid, and walked back inside. "Who's hungry? I got a few with pepperoni & a few with just cheese. If you don't like pizza then there should be other things in the fridge to eat."
Brisa grabbed two pieces of pepperoni pizza and headed back over to the table, sitting down and chewing contentedly, watching the commotion around her. Suddenly her phone vibrated in her pocket, and she pulled it out, glancing down at the screen. Oh no, a million texts from Mom. She thought. What the heck should I tell her?

Jessi grabbed some pizza and joined Brisa at the table. She glanced at Toby. "You going to eat?" She asked him. He shook his head. "No, I'm not hungry. Even if I was, I feel a little sick." Jessi shrugged. "Your loss. So, Charlie was trying to call you all day. He's really worried, you should call him back. He probably thinks you're dead." She said, handing him her phone. He grabbed it and sighed. "I will be when he finds out what happens. Hey, maybe this house will kill me before he does." He walked out of the room and upstairs, dialing his number.
"Hello? Jessi? Any news on Toby?" Charlie asked when he answered.
"Um, hey Charlie." Toby said awkwardly.
"What happened? Why didn't you answer my calls?"
Toby cringed. "I was playing a game and it was really frustrating. I got mad after I died multiple times and I threw my phone at the tv. I thought I should go walk Alpha after that, before I broke anything else."
"Uh huh." Charlie said. He didn't fully believe him, but it was something Toby would actually do.
"I need to go, a couple of Jessi's friends are over."
"Okay, I'll talk to you later." Toby hung up and walked back downstairs.
"What did you tell him?" Jessi asked, with her mouth full of pizza.
"That's disgusting, don't speak with your mouth full, you'll spit food everywhere. I told him I threw my phone at the tv after losing a game, and then went on a walk. I'm going on the porch, it's getting really stuffy in here." He said and walked outside. He sat on the porch and leaned against the wall.

"You know, Lach."Wolfram grumbled, putting a hand to his head, wincing."That was really, really stupid of me."Snorting, he looked over at River, and suddenly looked pale as a sheet, remembering he yelled at her earlier. He looked away quickly, eyes wide. Wait...there are so many other teens here...I wonder if Bleddyn's here...No...she won't be. Why would she be here? That's stupid to think.
"You know what? I actually agree with you." Lachlan said, grinning in amusement. He glanced around to pinpoint where everyone was exactly, noticing that Jessi, Brisa, Finlay, and Camilla were taring into four cheese and pepperoni pizzas. He swung his head around, having caught sight of a whimpering form on the couch, wincing as he saw Alice curled into a ball under a cover, whimpering. He edged closer to her. "You okay?" He muttered, before River began talking over him.
"Lachlan, Wolfram, you two should go grab some pizza with the others. You two look like you're starving."

Wolfram snorted at Lachlan."Of course you would agree!"He muttered, looking at River. He looked behind him at the table, where the other teens were eating. As soon as he caught scent and sight of the food, all hunger in his stomach vanished. He turned away from the table,,feeling sick to his stomach."Um...no thanks."He muttered, wincing.

Brisa glanced at Jessi. "My mom texted. She's getting worried and doesn't know where I am." She groaned, holding up a screen full of questioning messages. "What should I tell her? I don't want to lie, but I mean... I really want to."
(@Fanci Feathers Marans, I think I'm gonna change Brisa's age to 15. It'll be easier to have her be more independent of her parents, plus she'd be about to turn 16 and get her driver's license. Plus it's more convenient for shipping in general. :p )

"Just tell her you're hanging out at a friends house. You can leave out the part of the bank and how we stole a car." Jessi said, taking another bite of pizza.

"Okay." She said, a little reluctantly. A clicking sound followed as Brisa texted back, and the little swoop sound as well. "I just don't want her to ask-" A reply came, and she finished the sentence in a defeated voice. "What friend. She likes to 'stop by' and pick me up unexpectedly." She explained. Oh well.
I'm at Jessi's. She typed, tapping the send button.
When will u b back?
I'm not sure. Not too long though maybe.
Ok. See u soon. <3
Ok. :)

"It seems like I'm off the hook tonight." Brisa sighed. She picked up her other slice of pizza and took a bite, glancing around the room, her eyes settling on Alice. "Do you know why she's crying? Maybe just overwhelmed?"

Wolfram suddenly froze, and heard a voice. He reconized that voice from somewhere....
"Why don't you let us help you?"She offered gently.
"Get away from me! I don't need your help! Scamper off, wimp!"He snarled, looming over her threateningly. She whimpered in fear, backing away from him."You better be afraid of me."

He swallowed hard, turning around, meeting her gaze."She's probably really overwhelmed, just like most of us."He replied, his voice not harsh yet not welcoming either. Neutral. No matter how strong his voice sounded though, he looked like he would just die right there, his face and arms bleeding, his light gray t-shirt almost ripped to complete shreds, and his face pale as a sheet.

Wolfram snorted at Lachlan."Of course you would agree!"He muttered, looking at River. He looked behind him at the table, where the other teens were eating. River glanced at Wolfram, cocking an eyebrow. "Suit yourself, Wolfram. Starving is always fun." She said sarcastically, flicking her eyes over to Alice, but not saying a word to her niece.
