Wolfram's small black form burst into the clearing, a series of gunshot's filling the forest as his aching legs led him into the parking lot, where he ultimately fell into a heap just behind Jenna's van. He drew in shuddering breaths, before shifting into his human form, and heaved himself from the ground. I can't do this much longer. "She...they...are...following..." He paused, a ragged cough wracking his body, "they're following us. Pure members. She got away," he huffed to the group, clinging to the vans bumper, "we have to get out of here."It didn't take feline ears to pick up on the urgency in Wolfram's sudden change of course. And once Sherri followed without question, Connor was made completely aware of some imminent danger. Doesn't take genius to figure out what it's got to be, either.
After a fleeting glance into the veiling unknown, he hoisted himself up and hurtled over the wall, leaping straight into a dead run for the bank parking lot. He nearly paused to shift when brambles started ripping shreds out of his jeans, but thought better of it when a gunshot resounded somewhere in the woods behind him.
He charged out into the sanctuary of the open, breathless. "You...cats..." he puffed out as he made his way up to the dwindled crowd, not quite sure what exact words he had for the more shift-minded shifters.
