(Little Dorrit flashbacks)"F-fine...just shifted...one to many times," Wolfram huffed. He looked around the group, and shook his head, "we won't all fit in–" he stopped, his head swiveling around to stare at a house across the street. It was incredibly old, and abandoned, but the ominous creaking that it emitted unnerved the shifter. Suddenly it gave a massive creak, before the house literally fell apart before his eyes. "Oh no."
(Eek! The responsibility!Still in human form, Sherri screamed and turned her ears back, fluffing her tail. "Mapleshade!" She hissed. "Brisa, use your powers! With the heat vision and telekinesis, you can locate Mapleshade, and maybe steal the key!"
)Wolfram slapped his hands over his ears as the creaking noise grew louder, emitting from every building. "We have to get out of here, now! I think I know what's happening!"
"What do you mean?" Sherri was already 30 feet away, ears pinned to her head, tail electric.
"The town is falling apart, Sherri! We have to get out of here!" Wolfram snarled, pulling the door to his car open.
“Why is the town falling apart?!” Brisa yelled at him over the loud crashing sounds of houses collapsing around them. Flicking back and forth between her heat and X-ray vision, she spotted a small feline figure darting out from behind the now destroyed old house. “Guys, I think Mapleshade’s over there!” She pointed, shading her eyes in an attempt to see better.Wolfram snatched his keys from the seat of his car, and hissed at Sherri. "Come off it, Sherri! I'm trying here!" He glanced back at the group, "my car can only fit so many people. Who ever can't shift into a fast running animal, get in."
