(I did too. Is it wrong that my brain screamed 'Lachram' for a second?)(Is it bad that I started laughing at some parts?)
Wolfram could hear a voice beside him, just barely able to hear what the voice was saying. He didn't open his eyes, but his ear flicked, and the tip of his tail twitched softly. He forced his eyes to open, staring up at Lachlan for a heartbeat, and for once, he looked like he trusted him. His body gave a soft shudder, and his eyes flickered shut, his breathing slowing down some as if he had just fallen asleep.
Lachlan gave a glance over Wolfram's body, worried about the open wounds. He bent over, scooping him up in his arms, holding him like a baby.
He stood up wobbly, limping forward until he came to Indigo's car, jerking the door open and collapsing into the car, letting Wolfram fall into his lap as his hand went to grip at his own wound. "Please, stop doing this stuff."
