Wolfram whirled around, to see Alice sprinting up the pathway. "Alice!" He glanced at River. "She can't stay up there alone. It's dangerous! Who knows if Mapleshade or anyone from the Pure is lurking out there!" He eyes flashed with fear, torn between going after her and staying. "Taylor." He turned to the Druid girl, who looked up quickly. "Go up there. Do not go near her, but make sure nothing is up there. But do not go near her, let her breathe." He hissed.
Taylor nodded, sprinting to the path at break-neck speed and up to above ground.
He glanced at River apologetically. "I'm sorry." His voice came out as a hoarse whisper. "I couldn't leave her alone up there. Not when I know they are out there. I've suffered there blows enough, and if they hurt her I would never forgive myself."
