It appears, but this is not final, that the 23 Barnyard mixes are at 10 cockerels and 13 pullets. Need more cockerels. At 7 weeks, one has attempted to crow and I saw the biggest, prettiest one mount one of the pullets today.

I actually have anxiety and a couple other things and am always over analyzing/critiquing everything I say/do and also I don’t think I have the best self confidence for reason which is weird because I have no reason not to and had a fairly normal childhood but yet here I am ha I’ve gotten a lot better and am way more confident now than I was but even now I still am constantly talking down on myself/bashing myself/putting myself down, you may have noticed that too haha and I always constantly apologize for everything but I’ve read that can be cause of some family stuff I’ve gone through haha who knows. Anyway.... so the unsure of myself thing is kinda spot or at least like anxiety or confidence or whatever.

Honestly feel like I’m being analyzed/profiled by the FBI or a shrink or something between you and Banty hahaha you guys should really consider joining the FBI or CIA

No joke, my dog is a moron. His breeder is a hunter that trains beagles for rabbit. The beagles have won many competitions, so the ones that won’t work are truly idiotic.

Today, a deer RAN A FEW FEET AWAY FROM HIM, and he didn’t react. In fact, he walked calmly onto the porch.

Beagles are known to be good with children, and are not the loud beasts I thought they were. In fact, most gun/bird dogs are good with children. The dog I killed before the wedding was an English Pointer, and good with children.

Yesssss the gun dog breeds are amazing. I personally love all retrievers lol can’t go wrong with a nice Golden or Lab. Most spaniels are nice dogs too but some can be a bit kooky lol pointers are great too, both English and GSP. GSP are supposed to be very intelligent. I think all gun dogs are wonderful though and great family dogs. So wonderful with children.

Ahh that makes sense then but still, if they’re unsafe I’d think he’d put kids before the dogs haha but I understand. I don’t think I’d be able to rehome an animal. I get way too attached haha especially if I raised it from birth. Completely understandable then ha and I guess as long as they’re able to be managed and they’re safe then that’s all that matters.

I see people getting rid of dogs for far less all the time sadly. Tons on craigslist. Usually it’s that they’re “moving” or “work too much” or that they just had a baby or something but they don’t even know if the dog is good or bad with kids anymore. They just don’t think they’ll have the time or whatever.

yes, we live on the ohio river and decided to go out on the jet ski for a couple hours today. first time we’ve had it in the water all season! there was still way too much floating trash to really enjoy it and I had forgotten how exhausting it is to ride on this part of the river due to all the wake from yachts and offshore type boats! we even rode to the waterfront downtown Louisville! as we were loading the ski to come home, a poor guy and his wife caught a large log under their boat trailer so hubby helped to safely drag it off the ramp for them.

Your right and thats the way i think. There are too many unwanted pets in the world. I dont breed pets i breed livestock. When i get a pet i have made a promise to give that pet the best i can for its entire life. Putting the dogs out during the day on these runners is the Only way i can manage them. So they have nice runners with houses too and beds of pine shavings in the houses. I give them big bones often too. The runners are just from walmart, each one 15-30 ft 10-20$ depeding on the dog and i connect three in a row then tether the dog to the middle one. They get up to 90' x 60'(for the german Shepard.) Way more than theyd have in a kennel and more than i could offer even inside a fence or inside my house. They havent shown open aggression towards the kids, just fear and theyre high strung so not trustworthy imo.
