➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Shove a quail in his mouth and then duct tape it closed.
That will teach him to say ugly things.

:highfive:

No worries girlfriend we all have shitty days sometimes.

Lol that was my first idea but i feel...they'd end up with trendy quail yoga pants

I'm scared of ripping their legs off to tighten them. Did you do it when they were done growing?
I think they were 6-7 weeks old when I put the zip ties on. Make a smallish loop then slide over the foot so there is less fumbling when you’re actually holding the bird. Does work better with two people so you can brace the leg when you pull.

i’m all good now......waiting on my amazon prime order!!
all my birdies are good!! funny how they are enjoying the big dust bath now that we tore out the garden!! i just gave them meal worm treats (bought just meal worms in place of meatza treatza scratch this week)
since raccoons typically come back every night, dh was wondering if predator could be a tomcat running the neighborhood???? the not knowing amongst other things is “killing” me!!!! so wishing i hadn’t ditched all the cheap game cameras i had for hunting as they would’ve come in soooo handy for my bird situation! DH says he thought about the predator situation but honestly I never gave it a thought as I hadn’t had a problem with chickens/turkeys in over a year since we started!!
