i was a bit suspicious but confirmed today that 1 of my last homegrowns is a full albino and most likely blind in one eye....approximately 3 weeks old and i held it back in grow out with one hatch mate and the newbies. if it survives 2ish more weeks will butcher. lost 1 of the littles last night that evidently escaped grow-out pen and got killed by the bigger birds. also lost my favorite silver tux in the brooder. moved the rest to shed brooder.

I added one more egg to my batch from my covey. It's a day later than the rest, but that shouldn't be awful. That makes 37 total set.

I got 3 pearls, a snowie, two silvers, a blue, two falb fee, and a lavender.

I give up. Have fun with your lavenders. They hate me.

Only one accidental dude. A blue tux with gorgeous mottling. And a silver tux with black spots.

We're up to 2 foamy watery saliva spitters

Painted the worst 25/40 babies being pecked with that stinky purplish stuff rooster booster makes. Not sure if it helps.

The older batch's boys almost scalped the favorite female and have been raping the younger ones. I separated 2 males from everyone and they *seemed* ok. Woke up this morning to one completely scalped. He's alive but one side of his head is swelling and his eye is oozing liquid. His ear was also bleeding this morning so hopefully his brain won't burst...and now his poop and foam are neon seafoam green.
