I don’t mind mosquito bites themselves and a little itch but if you get EEE, you will die a horrible, nasty, painful death, or else suffer so much you wish you were dead, and like 1/3 of the people who get it die so that is just not a chance I am willing to take, whether that makes me a sissy or not

I don’t think we have them in southern New England like Massachusetts but they are here. I know Northern New England, like Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, has them. My brother and SIL have them at their cabin in VT.

And also we have here green heads aka horse flies and those things are AWFUL. They don’t form huge swarms like black flies I don’t think but they bite and bite HARD. Those suckers HURT. And bug spray won’t keep them away!! We have them in the marshes here. They are awful!!

Ehh, a little risk makes life fun.

I actually take quite a lot of risk with it. I’m always outside at dusk when they’re out more and rarely where bug spray or long clothes.

I’m actually a bit of an idiot about it lol

Gotta start being more careful.

The guy that just died had no bites on his whole body so he must have just gotten one tiny little bite from one. And he died.

One with a bunch of soccer Mom's that are worried about dying and protecting their only, precious child (did you know child birth is nasty and hurts!) from West Nile Virus and Avian Influenza. Add malaria, leukemia, and ebola on top of that. Every person with animal husbandry experience knows you don't just breed once, you breed a lot and let Darwin decide. Everyone should have spares. Cause, ya know, life happens until it doesn't.

Same here. We just take our itches like men... not like sissies. Do you have black flies? Those are really brutal.

Thats what i call gnats and theyre back here for the fall and im mad. Springs fiasco took 42 birds from me
