I just moved my quail to another section of garden bed. Took the part they were in and thoroughly hoed it up. You can't even tell that the quail were there anymore. They seem happy in the new side of the bed. Instead of a tired, nearly dead zucchini plant, they have tired, not quite as dead green bean plants to play in. I also hoed up the side they were moving to, so they have loose, fresh soil to dig and bathe in.

It's cold for me but I think they will be fine.

Yeah same problem here but worse....low overnight tonight 40* tomorrow 38* it was 83/65 yesterday!!!!

It was 89 this morning.

they should be fine down to 50*......my problem is compounded by rain all day and night.....great hunting weather, but sux for the birds! i’ve got heater on in coop and going out to lock up the turkeys tonight, but the quail have all been huddled up most of the day.....i’m sooo not ready for this yet!!!

No. The 2 week olds are running around. None huddled like they are cold. It was 57°F when I checked. Yes, I'm still wearing shorts.
