➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

There are, I just can't keep count anymore... lol

:lau makes sense!!!

They are the cutest things I’ve ever seen!!! :love

I've got cut up peices of sponge in the waterer. They are mainly just wanting to sleep right now. The Bobs are singing to them.

Awwww

:love:love:love......just watch your water that it doesn’t wick out and get the shavings wet. looks like first chick is a tux (scarlet or rosetta), you have a couple pansies so far (the little “painted” one is killing me!) red range (eyebrows), pharaoh,
falb fee, and a “yeller” :wee

So much variety. :love

They're so cute

X2!!!

I could've used that yesterday when Fitz got out. Took me a good two hours to catch the bugger. Also, she's a girl! Could've sworn it was the other way around. I found about a dozen eggs while I was cleaning her pen out.

My new EE chick loves to play you can’t catch me and make me chase her for like half an hour whenever I need to put her back :lau

Awww no :hit

Yeah, I constantly have to remove shavings & poop from the Bobs waterer, the way they have to run backwards to poop. Do Coturnix do the back up to poo maneuver as well? I've got #10, #11 & #12 in the bator still & more pips...

But also :sick

(x2 thanks for the info on the watering systems!)

It is a catch-all word for 3+ color mutations at the same location that can all kind of intermix. They're all golden colored, but beige have no black markings, golden Italian will have more speckles scattered throughout, and Manchurian types have their color concentrated more on their heads with lighter patterned bodies. They are feather sexable but I would say it is much more than just a dilution - the pattern changes quite a bit from wild-type.

Golden layer, which theoretically might have both Italian and Manchurian genes(?).

How do you do the multiple quote replies?

Click the +Quote link on all of the messages you want to reply to, then click Insert Quotes in your message.
That is one way. I just click on reply which puts the quote in with the cursor in the correct place to start your response. Then I click on reply in the next post and it will add it to the post in the same manner. I just keep repeating this until I have all the quotes that I want in my response.

If I only want to quote part of someone's post, I just highlight the part that I want to quote and click on the reply button that highlighting brings up.

I will often edit out parts that I don't want to quote once I have everything inserted. I also find it easier to hit the +Quote when I'm going through several pages of messages and I'm not sure which ones I want to reply to yet.

I'll hafta try it out eventually.
