➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

yep. Leave them for 48 hours min. From what I read, hatching can vary by a couple of days, but it sounds like yours were pretty well coordinated. What is your number hatched vs started?
I started 103 (102 if you subtract one that broke along the way in the turner rails). I had 68 in lockdown (said 62 before but counted again yesterday) after removing the undeveloped eggs. 45 have hatched, but two have perished already.
I do have a few splayed legs. I may try to brace them after having read an article on line from a lady who uses pet medical wrap to create what looks like ankle cuffs and within a few days to a week the hips grow properly and adjust. There's only 2 with curled feet that I've noticed so far. I'll tape those straight and we should be good.

its been 10 hours since the first hatch. theres still about 20 eggs in the incubator. Many have not pipped even. Thoughts? Just leave them still? I mean I was expecting hatch until tonight anyway...
Leave them.

I am going to look at Walgreens or Meijer for it this evening. I have to go out anyway, because I'm suppose to pick up a few turkey eggs for an incubator experiment - The Tom has been gone for a month or so, and the hen started laying eggs again. We are hoping they are still fertile from when the Tom was around.
