Any hatch activity yet???

Anyone use/used the janoel-12 (Good Mother-GM9)? If so did you add the 100ml as per instructions or did you add lesser amounts every few days? I didn't have a humidity monitor to check what it had been running during my last hatches. I'm wanting to do whatever I can to boost my hatch percentage.

i basically dry hatch until lockdown....just adding a little water through the vent hole to keep around 20%.....at lockdown I put a clean sponge under vent hole and raise humidity to around 45%

*i use a salt-tested hygrometer*

Not that I'm aware of, everything is pretty compact on my screen....

the J12 can be a bit tricky......my initial hatches were by the instructions but lockdown humidities went way too high (i did chickens first so it was more forgiving). the lid is very clumsy so that’s why I went to adding water through the vent hole. i have also tried rotating my eggs to different positions every few days to avoid “cool spots” overall I’ve had relatively good hatch rates with j12 but I use it more now for overflow, staggered hatches, and ICU for problem chicks.
