➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Need input. Are the left and back quail both male? This is set 1 and I've checked after the first male had injuries. Looks like I've had 2 boys the whole time. :hmmView attachment 1970588

I thought I had a cockroach eating the quail food. Then this was in the bottom of my 5 gallon bucket. Time to set traps. I'm not happy with this. Warning to everyone that rodents are an issue around pet food. Climbing into the coop is a new one for me. View attachment 1970589
Back right looks male.
Leftie might be.

I'm not looking at the last picture.

This is one of the things I like about my guineas. When mice or voles invade their coop, they feast on mice and voles.

I'm going to move this dummy in with two Pansy females tomorrow just to see what they will produce.

The breeder coops are on the back porch. The grow outs are out in the chicken run. Looks like I need to get the breeders away from the house. I was being careful not to spill feed. Didn't think the quail would share.
