The buttons are so cute and there are some really pretty colours. Too bad I don't have space for them. I just can't justify more pets.

Oops. Kiki doesn’t have an aviary built yet. We know her rule of not getting pets before having a place for them.

She'll have one built or modified by morning!

Don't worry, Santa's sleigh is exempt from all border crossing laws by international agreement.

I can't remember if you are NPIP, But if you are, when they come to inspect, don't have quail and finches in the same cage. I have already been warned by my agent that she will fail my inspection if she sees quail and any other bird living in the same aviary (I have cockatiels and parakeets also).

SSC is up for auction now for those of you who like my current batch of chicks.

I've missed them everyday this week, maybe there'll be some more the next few days. I've been too busy outside with chores during the day & miss all the Auctioning.

Is it bad I gave up getting quail to get another lizard?
I'm sticking to ducks and chickens for now!

I blame you guys, I was perfectly happy with the birds I have and then you show me cute finches and I looked them up several times at work today. Now I'm going to have to avoid the pet store. But they might be in the future, in the spring/summer.
