That one has fee gene....either pearl or pansy fee???
Mom.... but I gave her to a new home where she'd have a new drake all to herself. I'm glad I got a duckling out her though.
He's probably fawn&white, I prolly just misspoke by calling him buff&white. That's a sex-linked cross, then. By down color, your duckling is a drake.
Buff and white or fawn and white runner? Either way it's still sex-linked, I was just curious because I've never heard of or seen a buff and white runner (and I'd love to see pictures if he really is buff and white).

Where can I find out more about sex-linked crosses? My drakes are a fawn&white runner and a Rouen and my ducks are a chocolate runner, a black runner and a Welsh Harlequin.
So the hatch continues. Mine always seem to take three days. I’m sure the incubator doesn’t heat evenly.
I’ve had two breech, one with some unabsorbed yolk, one with curled feet and one with a splay leg. Got boots on the curled feet and I think it might work. I tried a hobble on the splay leg and failed miserably. It is currently in a little cup back in the incubator and boy oh boy is he annoyed.
Any advice?
I always think about this but don’t seem organized enough to make it happen. I also think I could do multiple thermometers on a dry run and map it out a bit. Ideas anyway...View attachment 2086544
If you want a more even hatch, move the eggs around every few days as you candle.
