My 8 Button eggs in an incubator and 11 Guinea eggs under a broody were all due for lockdown yesterday and to hatch on same day... guinea eggs hatched already... two/three days early. I can hear some super quiet chirping in the incubator though, unless it's phantom chirping "in my head"....

My eggs just went into lockdown! I pulled four clears and two early quitters. I have 3 that I think are late quitters, but I left them in there in case I'm wrong.

26 eggs left in the incubator with hopes of 23 chicks.

Received my shipped eggs(13) on Friday. Set them on Saturday. As of last night I have 8 with development and one that is too dark to tell. I marked the ones that looked like they were without development and will candle again next week to determine viability before lockdown.

Alright everyone. I think I’m probably done, just maybe 1 more egg. Official hatch day was Monday, but I’m gonna leave the incubator going probably until tomorrow if no progress. Of 13 set only 4 eggs are left in the incubator. I was almost positive 1 I set had stopped developing early on but put it in just in case. 3 of the eggs feel very light and 1 feels heavy like another that had pipped but died so I believe there is a chick in there. So I had 2 die after pipping, 1 pipped the wrong end and was malpositioned, appeared like it had ruptured it’s yolk sac somehow because it had yolk all over its body and had zipped partway around the shell perfectly then just stopped, (I removed shell from around the face to examine and was nowhere near the sac), the other pipped and broke some shell but didn’t break the membrane and I think it either suffocated from that or it dried out due to me assisting and removing a chick to hobble and boot it. boo. I assisted with only 1 hatch that had started and was also upside down pipped wrong end and after like 30+ hours was still breathing and moving but couldn’t get out or make progress. So I helped it out, ended up with a splay leg and majorly curled toes. Booted them last night and they are now perfect today, still have the hobble on but it is now walking correctly, so hopefully it fixed the splay. Currently have 7 healthy lively chicks, and hopefully that last egg gives me something! But I am happy with 7. I think my odds of having at least 1 boy and a few girls are good as I hope to incubate and breed more.

I think I have one of the two button babies on its way out.

I haven't been jacking with them much and two fakers don't poop much so I don't have to clean multiple times a day.

I just noticed one acting a little drunk like and I saw him poop only white.
I'm thinking the idiot is not eating well.

I put Nutri-Drench back into their water and made sure there is feed that I've beat into sand.
Now I wait.
