If they are trying to hatch on day 24 the temp is too low.I think my temp is okay cause they all seem to be doing fine and developing if it were bad they would be slow at developing right or dead?
well i said they were in a cool spot! and the others started hatching 4 days earlier but know it's a forced air incubator which should get rid of that problemIf they are trying to hatch on day 24 the temp is too low.
Your current eggs...we shall see what happens come hatch time.
You are understanding my point about knowing your bator now aren't you?well i said they were in a cool spot! and the others started hatching 4 days earlier but know it's a forced air incubator which should get rid of that problem
Where did your eggs come from?
A major hatchery that specializes in quail or a backyard breeder person?
Do you have a link to the website page you ordered from?
Day 20 is still late for Coturnix quail. That definitely implies that your temperatures weren't high enough. Coturnix are supposed to hatch on day 17. If they hatch a day or two early, the temp was too high, if they hatch two or three days late, the temp was too low.well i said they were in a cool spot! and the others started hatching 4 days earlier but know it's a forced air incubator which should get rid of that problem
