That's a very nice color

I love those silvery ones. I have another out of this batch that is bigger. I'm afraid that this one may have to be culled. It's bright and active enough, but large growths are never a good thing.

I need silver ones. I have silver ducks and silver chickens so I need silver quail.

You've never seen Gouda and Nooch I'll send you a pic. They call them blue I think or Lavendar. I call them silver lol.

Does anyone have any ideas about little lumpy? I think this batch of chicks has something a bit off about their genetics. I had bugeyes, twobutt, and now lumpy.

Nope, never like Lumpy but it sure sounds like genetics from the parents being too closely related.

Sounds like I need to introduce some fresh genetics. The parents all came from Myshire Farm.

Edit: Wait. Not all of them are from Myshire. One pen is, but my other pen isn't. I'll have to try an experimental hatch from one pen, then the other to see which pen is producing the weirdness.
