Hey muddy, 70% is too high in my opinion. Looking at these pics your %RH is higher than that....condensate on the sides means it's saturated!View attachment 2128723View attachment 2128725

How can they sell them if permits are required to have them?DH “allowed” me to get 4 turkey poults at RK today as part of Mother’s Day gift!!! It ended up being an eye-opening experience as even the employee working the chick department really has no clue on the birds she is selling!! there were several ppl trying to buy the ring-neck chicks they had without any clue of permit requirements or even type of bird they were buyingthey were wanting the cute little chicks to lay them some eggs year round but i could tell that most had no idea about space requirements, coops, etc etc!! definitely no idea about netting or hw cloth!

Ow, I agree it makes no sense that the store would sell something that you need a permit for, especially since the employees even have no idea of anything to do with them. That is sad. Did anyone actually buy them? I have done a lot of research on pheasants as I wanted a reeves pheasant, and don’t most pheasants have a minimum requirement of 25 square feet per bird? How can they sell them if permits are required to have them?

yes today was another lesson for me in how RK is significantly lacking in the area of education!!! even the sales employee said she had almost talked her mom into letting her get a white turkey as a pet and theni burst her bubble by telling her that rk turkeys are bb and “meatbirds” only.....she had no idea heritage breeds even existed!!Ow, I agree it makes no sense that the store would sell something that you need a permit for, especially since the employees even have no idea of anything to do with them.
