links or names of the good sellers would be appreciatedThere are quite a few sellers on eBay right now offering mel eggs! Some are pretty good sellers, well packaged eggs and decent fertility, some of the others...not so much.![]()
I vote that too, but my current project is quail. Then maybe pheasantsvote “build it” and get them!!! I initially wanted “ornamental” pheasants in addition to my quail, but of course ringneck are much less expensive and easier to procure........i love mine and it was probably a wise decision in hindsight with the “learning curve” involved......
that's extremely sad, my broody hen lost 4 of her 8 chicks before i found out what that lesson was. apparently chicks need water they can reachSpeaking of school of hard knocks.... I apparently attended today as I lost three chickens.![]()
still trying to figure out what the lesson was...
Ornamental's, along the lines of Goldens and Amherst are actually easier to raise than most of the True pheasants. The ring necked species for the most part are aggressive and territorial. In general, they require more sq.ft. of enclosure to be properly maintained in a breeding program.i vote “build it” and get them!!! They don’t check if people have the permits before they purchase them? That seems backwards honestly.RK, TSC, etc...are allowed to sell them, it's up to the buyer to 'obtain' the permits required to keep gamebirds.
well, they don't really care, they just want the sale. my dad always said easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, unless it had to do with himThey don’t check if people have the permits before they purchase them? That seems backwards honestly.
