There is a three week delay on my order from MyShire. If the feed store has some live birds in stock this weekend I'll get a few to get me started.
I just set 20 button eggs. I had two customers who bought coturnix quail mention that they wanted buttons too, so I'm hatching some.
i logged in and it seems brinsea has changed the brooder plate design since i got mine......the new design looks much safer!it’s hard to not overthink itbut yeah I’ve had some pretty creative deaths by quail chicks. Some plates I think have a better design. Mine is the eco glow that has straight enclosed legs. Which can make it more difficult to navigate than ones with small circular legs.

I can't remember if I posted this but I did find a local feed store that will order the Purina game bird feeds for me. That’s the right price. That’s what I’m paying for mine. Feed went up across to board around here. Currently $17 and change for layer usually $15

I kinda thought all along that you shouldn't be selling that.
