➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

i had 2 more hatch this morning and 1 more is pipped and still moving the pip flap. i am trying to occupy myself because i’m “itching” to assist! the last one to hatch this morning has curled feet and is much smaller than the others even though egg was similar size. wishing i had bought the sav-a-chick at rural king yesterday but i will mix up my vitamin electrolytes and start giving that to all in their water. hoping not to have to put on hobbles. wishing now that i had planned on more quail babies for december instead of ordering more chicken eggs! but definitely going to do more qualies for 2019!!!
Give it a day or two...after it starts eating it's feets should straighten out. Get Nutri-Drench next time your at the store.

:fl

Any noise coming from the ones left?

Have you held them up to your ear to listen yet?
i will candle and listen again before i crack....i threw out 3 of the “clears” yesterday and now i’ve been questioning that as i have no idea where the egg that hatched last night came from but the chick inside was big so it couldn’t have been in the remaining “clears”

Next time you could write a number on each egg with a pencil or permanent marker to help keep track of the better.

I might over do my keeping track of stuff.
