I know it works for those that are diligent about it. I like the simplicity of setting, and only candling when I want, and keeping humidity stable.I dunno. I don’t know much, tho, when it comes to all this. Dave Holderread, in The Book of Geese, says misting helps the eggs dehydrate properly. Makes sense to me (evaporation dehydrates & cools), so I’m misting. He hatches a lot of waterfowl and has researched it extensively, so I figured, what the heck? Can’t hurt. He knows more than me—tho that’s a very low bar.![]()
