Yes but sometimes they trick you into thinking they've laid two.

I wish I could!!!! Soooo cute! I didn’t have any duck food....only Pringle’s! One of the babies did get brave enough to steal one from my hand though

I still cannot understand the point in misting. Just another “whatever works for you” thing.

I dunno. I don’t know much, tho, when it comes to all this. Dave Holderread, in The Book of Geese, says misting helps the eggs dehydrate properly. Makes sense to me (evaporation dehydrates & cools), so I’m misting. He hatches a lot of waterfowl and has researched it extensively, so I figured, what the heck? Can’t hurt. He knows more than me—tho that’s a very low bar.

I check into the evening, and at first light now. These eggs are shocking me. Nine yesterday, and TEN today!!!
