For cricket eggs, you get a flat of moist earth with the eggs in it. Special conditions and all. Then the little hoppers come out and you have to feed & water them. Crazy Lady started, I tried to rescue and failed. Interesting side bar. Stinks. Smelled like roaches.
When you open the lid, they scattered everywhere. I just took the whole thing into the chicken yard and they cleaned up the escapees. Not worth the effort, imho.
Interesting. How long do they take to hatch?
I have a thing outside that was once a coop, first for ducks, converted to chickens, now it just sits in my yard with a feeder for whoever is out grazing at any given time. At night it’s always full of crickets!
