➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I have Nuture Rite, too! Bought it just to play around with it and see what all the hoopla was about it.
The temp does stay were you put it. Which is unusal for digital thermostats that they use on most of the bators nowadays.

I like it too, especially as a hatcher because the view is soooo awesome!

I WANT ONE now!

Tractor Supply around $129

The only bad thing or not necessarily bad but a 'con' is the turning plate. It's for chicken size eggs, doesn't turn pheasant or quail eggs well at all.
It keeps turning my pheasant eggs to the same spot each time. A full 360 turn each time it turns. I could put a partition in between each egg slot but it would take alot of time to adjust the placement to get the proper alignment. :idunno

Well you beat me to it. I was going to ask about that. I tried 2 small serama eggs in one slot, they wont fit. But I thought quail may be smaller. I’m not sure if the turn distance can be changed, maybe??
So do you just use it without the turner?

These serama eggs are about 21 grams each.

Another con is it takes both hands to take the top off and put back on...putting back on, you have to align it just right to make it fit.
I did a review on it, FWIW

Yes the lid is a PITA. That’s my least favorite thing about it. I taped two pieces of vet wrap on the sides of the top to make it less slick too. But I usually just stick a fingernail under one side and tilt it with one hand.

Yep, I tried the 2 egg idea too...didn't work. I also noticed that the embryos didn't develop as well being incubated horizontal as opposed to a vertical turner. :idunnohad alot of early quitters using it, which was very unusal.

Of all the foam bators, the one I've had the best results from is Farms Innovator Pro Model 4250. Held temp, humidity, extremely well. Easy to clean, has a plastic shell over the foam, doesn't get dents in the foam from handling, good viewing windows. The top fits better to the bottom half...I think that attributes to stable temp and humidity.
