➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

More so than coturnix, for sure. I know some people run rings in their larger bobs to prevent biting. @007Sean Have you noticed differences between your bob types?
Not really, if their given adequate space and male to female ratios are met....I don't notice anymore aggression than any other quail.

On a side note, I am at 6500' in the Sierras, it is February 2nd, and we just had an entire 24 hours of rain instead of snow. It's finally snowing but it's not even expected to stick around for long. :hitIf these temps keep up the ski resorts can't even *manufacture* snow (not that that's my main concern; I like my state not being on fire).

It's been great for the humidity, though! Reached a whole 25% stable inside house! Will be great for hatching! Woohoo! :ya

Well I did some reading and seems here has been some mixed results. This my take on it or the way I understand it. So I may be off in feft field. It seems almost all humidity gauges are off a bit. So if you have a gauge that reads high you would benefit from the regular hatching. And if you had one that reads low you would benefit from dry hatching?

Ok after reading through on all I have missed I read about dry incubation. Ok that is new to me. Can anyone help me out? Sounds interesting.
Sure...what do you need help with?

I run my bator dry (stays around 30%) and only add a little water at the end to raise the humidity up to about 50% when they start hatching.

It works for me.
