That's is what has me worried the thermometer I was using was calabrated and was with a 1/2 degree of the setting on the bator. Dont know.

I think I'm behind on a couple recent hatch numbers for the poll.

Nothing to be sorry about. Over a 50% hatch rate of fertile eggs on shipped eggs. I dont think it's to bad.

Better luck next time Kullas. Maybe a different breeder will have better fertility rates.

I'm happy with the quail. My chickens hatched also set 12, 2 infertile 1 early quitter. hatched 8

I have another batch of shipped eggs out there in a bator right now.
They were sent out after Kullas so maybe just maybe more we're fertile in that batch...although I don't think so.

I understand your frustration. I've tried to tell whether our eggs are fertile or not. I can't tell. What's your hen:roo ratio?
