➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Oh my goodness. I am very excited. Another partial-move might be in my future within ~6 months to somewhere about a half hour away. Somewhere with fewer bears! And more flat land! And feed stores! And cows! And where I could move my critters outside where they'd be so much happier! And have a garden that doesn't get eaten! And still come visit my beautiful house whenever I felt like!

Oh no! There's no timestamp on the quote!

Don't go hunting for it again if you don't remember the page number. Thank you so much though! Hatching hero. :bow
Click on the arrow in the quoted part and it will take you to the original message.
It took me one second to find it with the advanced search function.
I typed in this:

I couldn't remember if the number was 45 or 48.
Using just the 4 worked.

Oh you guys. Quail are nice, and I'm sure rabbits will be too, but my family were ranchers a generation back, I was raised stuck in the city, I have wanted cows since before I could even say "cow", and I had basically given up on it happening. I am dying of excitement.

Not that I will start with cows. I have a strict upward in size livestock progression. But ducks! Oh my goodness, ducks! :weeAnd maybe goats in a year or two! I would love to have a dairy animal, I feel so bad supporting those central valley farms.

Now I just have to find a steady supply of that fart-negating algae.

(Oh and like a place to rent maybe I am getting ahead of myself ).

So excited for you, Coturnix!! Good for you!!!
My mom is an Idaho farm girl, and I often dream about moving out to the country, but hubby is a city boy and *never* wants to move again anyway. Something about it being too much work :hmm:rolleyes: So I make do with my miniature zoo ;)

I couldn’t take it anymore and candled just now. :p They are ALL fertile. :thSo the only two eggs eliminated so far were the one that had a mishap with the turner on the first day, and the one that I dropped while trying to candle quickly:he
Which of course means that I still have to hand turn 6 of the 8 eggs that I slipped in the edges outside of the automatic turner

Did you post about them the day you set?
I set them yesterday evening 3/27. 228

Any fart negative vegetable would be great!!!!!

I have a jersey heifer we are getting ready to have bred with an angus. I was raised in the city so this is all new and exciting for me.
