Unfortunately the colors don’t hatch out true.....60-75% based on what I’ve learned so far on color genetics. out of my 13 pearls, I’ve got 1 that’s more snowy, 1 falb-fee, and 1 italian “dirty pearl”. sorry pics not perfect.....and cage is a mess! Here is the quail someone gave us. They are pretty beat up. And I separated the coturnix from the bobwhites. They don’t get a long. There are a couple more hiding but they all look like one of these. Are they males or females?

I see two males and a female in that clip.

post# 1 of this thread, kiki shows a feather sexing chart. Luckily the colors you got are feather-sexable. the female has a more speckled breast while the males have a more solid breast with “rust” coloring. with the tibetans you are hatching, you will probably have to rely more on vent-sexing.

That, and my theory is that the lighter colored silver in the clip is a male just because it fits my running theory on that color. Also, he's not missing many feathers!

I’ve got five more in the bator that I’ll shift to the brooder in the morning with any others that hatch. It will e fun to see how they feather out. Pics will flow freely.

The one looks almost all white in the video with a couple dark feathers. Is it a male or female?

i missed that one....must’ve looked at the other little male twice.....but I agree with @CoturnixComplex theory as well as size/stature compared to known male/female in the video.
