➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Does anyone know anything on how to sell quail eggs? I was thinking about selling Coturnix quail eggs for consumption and don't know what permits and such need to sell eggs.
Every state has their own rules. It depends on where you live what the requirements are.

In North Dakota I can sell eggs at farmers markets and directly from my porch, but to sell to stores or institutions I need a permit.

As it's worded:
What type of eggs can be sold?

Eggs from any domesticated poultry can be sold to the home consumer without a permit, refrigeration, etc. If you are selling to a store or other outlet, you’ll need a permit in accordance with state law.

We have a really great food freedom law here.

Pic of hatch #1....through the lid is difficult to see well but looks to be a beautiful lavender color!! Hopefully more hatches by morning! I got the 1 quail back outside and gathered as many of the smallest and wettest ones and put them in the small coop. Brought 2 more inside for a sink bath and rest on heat pad. New quail color is “muddy pearl” :hit supposed to be spring again tomorrow and going supply shopping first thing!! Added fresh pine nuggets to the list so I can get my coops and run cleaned!

Yeah I have seen a lot around the web with 1/2. I missed out on a 20% off 1/2 at TSC the other day, still kicking myself. Have you ever had a problem with raccoons or foxes and the 1/2in?
Nope, but I also haven't really had issues with them, period. I've had birds in chicken wire pens with unsecured tops for months and didn't lose even one. I saw a fox by a bird pen once, but it just went round and round for a few minutes then ran off.
