➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Yes. They are all in the freezer.
I'm getting jumbo eggs next week or the week after.

I have 6 eggs in the bator just for one last fun hatch if my own eggs.

They should pop in a day or two.

Are you planning a quail cage for the new house? :D
That's up to the parents for now on the quail.

Exciting for the jumbos!

Either way. The eggs are fake so it doesn't even matter.

I checked mine hourly for days...the first time.

I still check many times a day just to be sure nothing crazy happens.

Okay. I’ll just let it run for a bit first. I don’t wanna waste eggs lol

Although I might weigh them and put them in tomorrow. Or Thursday. I have Thursday off. That may be better. Not that I don’t have time tomorrow lol

And true!! I am actually paranoid that the temp or humidity are gonna go crazy and I’m gonna lose them! Lol

This is why it's a must.
You must learn your bator...inside and out...before you buy eggs.

If they are prolific layers... I also need to know if quail eggs will sell around the new house.
My old ones...I think will be one in August.
They have laid and egg every single day since they started.
They don't mess around.

Do Not mix medicated starter with anything. The medicated starter has the proper amount of medication in it. If you dilute it by mixing it with something else, you reduce the medication below the level that it is necessary for it to be effective.
good to know....i added it on top of about 1/4c or less remaining gamebird feed in the feeder this afternoon. will empty and start fresh tomorrow am.
