Film it too.I love out-of-date metaphors. Poor little guy, bullchick.
Sometimes there’s nothing else to do. Give him the whole nine yards. No need to drag things out. Make it snappy.

Get a generator and set it up, Kiki. Our power was out for just under a week with our last big snowstorm. (Which happened a disturbingly short time ago) NP as far as the duck eggs were concerned. All the eggs I thought looked good hatched plus one “not-so-sure” one. Plus we still had water, which is HUGE. TOTALLY worth it. I’m really excited about the generator (can you tell?) Only thing is, we ought to have gotten a bigger one.Thx.
I'll quit hatching if I have the same problems again this time.
I have one...it was just too much work to get to it for that time.Get a generator and set it up, Kiki. Our power was out for just under a week with our last big snowstorm. Cool! I never knew that... never even heard of it. Thanks, Sean!Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.
And I grew up in FL which, to be fair, (if I remember right) wasn’t even a state when the big event went down but still... It also didn’t attract much in the way of population until AC was invented, which was when my folks moved down there. Was born in and now live in SD, which also of course wasn’t a state, so maybe that’s why I didn’t know.Juneteenth is a big deal down here. People have been partying all week.
I would love to turn the alarm off, but it can't be turned off. It even says so in the user manual. I thought the humidity seemed too high. Maybe I could find and cut the wire or put the incubator out in the garage where I can't hear it.@Nabiki Id turn that alarm off until hatch time but then it could be pretty handy. I run mine like kikis saying 30% but thats about where it stays when its dry usually. This time its lower as our ambient humidity is lower than normal (for chores!)
